The Vatican Museums are one of the biggest Art and Sculpture collections in the world.
Our official Vatican Guide accompains you through the Treasures of the Vatican Museums with stops to the Sistine Chapel, the Gallery of the Maps, the Gallery of the Tapestries and many more.
We meet early at 8:30 in order to avoid big groups of tourists. We go inside the museums and through the galleries towards the Sistine Chapel. We admire the masterpieces of Michelangelo, Botticelli, Perugino and many more such as the creation of Adam, the Last Judgement and the last supper.
From the Sistine chapel we have an exclusive access to St Peter’s Basilica without waiting in the line. This is the biggest christian church in the world with undisputed masterpieces such as the Pietà of Michelangelo, the huge Canopy and the Cathedra of St Peter by Bernini.
The Tour continues at St Peter’s Square, the most beautiful Baroque Square of Rome where you can admire the Colonnade designed by Bernini and the 3000 year old Egyptian obelisk.
At the end of the Tour we will have a sit and enjoy an aperitif with a glass of wine or spritz.

Vi hade två dagars guidning i antika Rom samt Peterskyrkan och vatikanmuseerna. Trots oförutsett "strul" vid Colosseum med lång kö blev det två jättebra dagar!
Erik använde väntetiden till att berätta om alltifrån historia till restaurangtips. Han lyckades också behålla barnens (10-15 år) intresse hela vägen med intressanta anekdoter mm.

Anlitade Erik till två turer. Colosseum med Forum Romanum och Vatikanmuseerna med Peterskyrkan. Vilken kunskap han besitter och kan förmedla på ett mycket lättförståeligt sätt. Roliga anekdoter blandat med fakta.
