Guesthouse San Giovanni – Wohnung mieten Rom Zentrum

We were in Rome for 5 nights and this guest house was the perfect place. It’s situated not too far from the centre but far enough to find restaurants and bar that are not tourist traps. The staff was friendly, especially the girl that checked us in. The room is very spacious and the whole place is really clean. There is also a communal kitchen that guests can use, which came in handy to us because it saved us from eating out for every meal

I booked the room for 3 persons and it was comfortable just like photos. Wifi was good and it was a quite appartment. Outside the room has a shared kitchen and a machine you can buy water, soft drinks, coffees and more. You can also cook. Some meters close to the hotel it is a market ( peny market) really cheap where we bought our breakfast and whatever we want. Colosseum was 20 minutes walk and all the other top places to visit were more than 30 minutes distance by foot. I searched for a room in Rome many times and this room I believe its the best value for money.

Room was big, didn't get too crowded with our suitcases. Everything is quite new and is like the pictures. It was good having access to a kitchen which had most necessities. The bathroom was also a good size. The location was 20min walk to the colosium however one part of the walk is quite dark at night time. This isn't really a problem though the area feels pretty safe, lots of locals around. The coffee shop on the corner (The Place) was really good! Rome is amazing! This is a shared apartment, which we were aware off, but with that you never know who else will be staying at the apartment. Unfortunately for us we had a family who were quite loud. This is obviously out of the hosts hands but worth mentioning.
